The wooden packaging industry of Europe comes to Germany
FEFPEB Congress from 17th to 20th September 2008 in Hamburg

The leading companies of the European Industry for wooden packaging, timber pallets and export packaging will meet 2008 in Germany for their annual congress. FEFPEB is short for Féderation Européenne des Fabricants de Palettes et Emballages en Bois, i.e. the European Trade Association of this sector. Their host is the Bundesverband Holzpackmittel, Paletten, Exportverpackung (HPE) e. V., the federal German trade association. Invited are the members and delegates from associated sector organisations in Belgium, France, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and Germany as well as representatives from the USA and Canada. The Congress takes place from 17th to 20th of September 2008 in Hamburg.
The motto chosen for the Congress is "Into the future with wooden packaging". There will be a wide overview of up-to-date and spear-heading issues and front-line developments by renowned speakers. The conference offers companies from the sector a platform for technical information and a border-crossing forum for an exchange of experience. In addition and flanking the Congress, many suppliers of the sector will provide information on their latest products and services available to the sector. The technical part of the conference will be rounded off by interesting and multi-facetted company visits to pallet manufacturers, industrial packaging firms, users and the container terminal in Hamburg.

Hamburg is an important sea port and thanks to the logistics and packaging companies on site Germany's "Gate to the World". It is therefore the logical choice for holding the congress. Hamburg is also a growing metropolis with approx. 1.8 million inhabitants. The city boasts many attractions and shopping facilities.
